Ugh

This is a small project I made for the jam. No complex controls, no massive tutorials—just you, a deck of stone cards, and the weight of your clicks.

In Ugh, you are the leader of a prehistoric tribe. Every choice you make, from healing a wounded wolf to deciding how to cross a rising river, will leave a mark. Sometimes you try to do the right thing and everything falls apart; other times, pragmatism saves the day, but at a very high human cost.

What to expect:

  • Simple Controls: Everything is played by clicking Left or Right. It’s simple, but the tension is real.
  • Real Consequences: Your choices aren't isolated. At the end, you'll see a chronicle of how your decisions merged to create unexpected tragedies (or miracles).
  • Cave Vibes: ASCII art, stone-grinding sounds, and a heavy atmosphere.
  • Short Runs: Designed to be played a few times to see how the legacy of your sins changes with every attempt.

I wanted this to feel like a story carved into a cave wall. Will you be remembered as a protector, or as the calamity that ended it all?

Hope you enjoy it (and try not to get too many people killed)!
